My name is Caroline Hudson, and I am the owner of The Kitchen Table Teacher, based in Guiseley, Leeds.
As a highly-skilled primary teacher, I have over 30 years’ experience teaching children right across the age ranges and have been the lead teacher for both English and Maths in a variety of settings.
I have an excellent reputation for helping children to be motivated lovers of learning, and for developing strong relationships with parents. My work has kindness, knowledge, and fun at its heart, developing trust and self-belief along the way.
I am passionate about developing the chance for ALL children to be the best that they can be and giving them the tools to make confident choices.
I firmly believe that parents want to support their children with their learning and, as so many methods have changed in recent times, I am here to provide the knowledge, understanding and resources they need to help build their confidence. I know that by helping parents, we can help their children and they, in turn, will become happy, self-assured young people who love learning.
I have developed a range of short courses to help parents understand the methods that their children are being taught in school in Reading, Writing and Maths and show them what learning looks like for children matched to their age.
These courses are designed to work in small groups in a friendly, informal setting so that parents can feel relaxed and comfortable to ask questions and check their understanding.
