The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information from course participants:

·      Name

·      Email address

·      Primary School attached to

·      Number of children and ages

·      Allergies

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

·      To communicate details about courses

·      To tailor course content and resources

·      To make links which would be relevant to other children in the family

·      To work out particular educational schemes in use in school to tailor learning content

·      To keep you safe from anything you might be allergic to.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

·       Make contact prior to, during and after a course

·       Make courses as relevant to you as possible

 

We will not share this information.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a)        Your consent.

You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting caroline@kitchentableteacher.co.uk.

 How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

We keep all your information for 5 years in a password-protected, electronic file.  We will then dispose of your information by deleting the file.

Booking a course on our website

When booking a course via the website service you will be asked to supply credit or debit card details. These will be supplied directly to our payment processor Stripe. Card details will only be used for the purpose of handling an individual transaction. No card details are stored by us.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
