Supporting Your Child in Year Three & Four - Online Course (Live on Zoom)

£75.00

Feel confident to support your child’s learning as they move into Years 3 and 4.

5 x 45-minute sessions held online on Zoom

What you will learn:

As children move into Key Stage 2 (or junior school) their English and Maths learning starts to become more complicated, and parents sometimes feel overwhelmed. Spelling patterns and grammar such as the dreaded “Fronted adverbial” are introduced - which can be difficult to remember or understand.

Maths moves up a level with fractions, decimals and some really big numbers! The new Times Tables test in Year 4 starts to appear on the horizon. Homework can all begin to look a bit alien.

These information sessions are carefully designed to explain the background to English and Maths in Year 3 and 4, and give you clear information to help you understand what reading, writing and maths methods look like at this age.

Experienced teacher Caroline will give you resources, trade secrets and lots of ideas about what to do, what you don’t need to do and how to stay motivated.

This course includes five sessions held online on Zoom.

Wednesdays 8pm - 8.45pm

Start dates: 5 June & 25 September 2024. Choose your preferred start date when booking.

£75 for 5 weeks, including downloadable resources.
